miniature spaghetti and friends by FatalPotato miniature spaghetti and friends by FatalPotato
Trio of miniature spaghetti, fettuccine Alfredo with broccoli and chicken, and garlic bread. Entirely handmade- including plates and bread basket! It's impossible to make realistic herb garnish leaves from polymer clay (for me!), so I wanted to use real mint leaves from our garden but felt that that's slightly sneaky... SO I used tissue paper instead and painted it green! I am satisfied with the results. For now.

polymer clay, TLS, baking powder, pastels, paint, glaze, tissue paper, pluffy clay, wire, basket material stuff (I still can't remember what it's called!)

Available on Etsy in the next few days!

SOLD

The garlic bread and fettuccine looks so real, I literally drooled looking at them. My only concern was the spaghetti.

Dont get me wrong, it still looks awesome but I could see it was artificial, which was a shame as the other two looks very much real. The "meat" looks a bit plastic-esque (if there is such a word), that it blows the cover that it is made of clay.

But it is a minor flaw that I saw in this design and I cant say more about it as I have never tried my hands on clay crafts before.

Overall, a very impressive work plus a very keen eye on detail. Extremely good job! Keep it up! And hoping that you continue creating impressive artworks such as these again in the future.

These are so perfect and delicious looking! If you don't mind my asking, how did you do the spaghetti sauce? I have been trying to a spaghetti sauce for a long time but It always looks awful :(. I'd love a tutorial of this fantastic sauce or even just some helpful tips!

I love your miniatures! You are a true role model for an aspiring miniature artists.

Scrape off brown clay with a needle and mix with red liquid fimo (liquid fimo + red pastels).  Thanks for the comment!

Spectacular!

I'm so envious of your skinny noodles - when I'm rolling mine, they seem impossibly thin but when photographed appear uber fat.

And the use of tissue paper is wonderfully done!
